Post Coupon Price

Final item price after a seller-generated coupon; commission uses this amount.

Commission Fee

Whatnot commission deducted from an order earning.

Payment Processing Fee

Processing charged from the buyer's total order value.

The key reconciliation rule

Sum Transaction Amount—not just sales rows

Refunds and shipping adjustments can complete in a later week than the original order. Adding every Transaction Amount in the selected report produces that week’s net Whatnot balance impact. Cost of goods and other business expenses still need to be subtracted for profit.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the same Order ID appear more than once?

Whatnot records different financial events as separate rows. An order earnings row and a later refund row can therefore share the same Order ID. Sum Transaction Amount for all related rows to understand the net impact.

Why is a recent sale missing?

The weekly report contains completed transactions. Depending on Early Payout eligibility, an order may not become complete until its label is generated or delivery is confirmed and processing finishes.

Is the weekly report an official tax statement?

No. Whatnot directs sellers to Monthly Statements or Annual Statements for official financial reporting documents.
